As humans, we often question what lies at the core of our identity. What shapes our perspectives? What drives us? Is it our experiences, our DNA, or something deeper—like the spirit within us? For all of us, our roots begin with family and the culture we grew up in. Our identities are shaped by tradition, history, and the influences that surround us.

For us, it started with Sicilian heritage. The struggles, the style, the deep sense of family, and the unwavering traditions are woven into our DNA. Our story traces back to Delia, Sicily, where Luigi Patermo was born in 1893. In 1910, he and his brother made the journey to New Jersey, USA, in pursuit of something greater. Not long after, Marianna followed, traveling from Naso through Naples to New Jersey. There, they met, fell in love, and laid the foundation for generations to come. They built barber shops, bakeries, and construction businesses—living embodiments of the American Dream.

Growing up in New Jersey had its defining moments. The imagery of Frank Sinatra and Italian men in sharp zoot suits made an impression. That influence, combined with icons like Lapo Elkann, Tom Ford, Gucci, and Thom Browne, helped shape our current stylistic perspective.

Then came the late bicentennial period—a defining era. The British invasion hit, and with it came a wave of influence that would change everything. The first listen toArmed Forces by Elvis Costello was electrifying. The live version ofAccidents Will Happen fromHollywood High sealed the obsession. Soon, The Style Council, Boy George, Aztec Camera, Squeeze, and The Clash were more than just music; they were shaping both personality and style. Joe Strummer and John Lydon’s edge was something we could taste, and the suits, boots, and hair became part of our identity.

Stylistically, it became a fusion—Style Council dandy meets Bruce Springsteen, with a splash of western bolo tie and Elvis'Almost Blue. Then came Manchester’s influence—Gallagher brothers in their parkas and bomber jackets, Richard Ashcroft’s effortless cool, and Ian Brown of the Stone Roses. All of these elements contributed to what we are today. At its core, our roots and reasons exist within our families, our cultures, and the experiences that shape us. They define who we are, what we believe in, and how we present ourselves to the world.

Make an effort.

This is our journey—
